Financování vybraných sportovních klubů

Abstract

This thesis deals with financing of selected sports clubs, which are basketball club BK Opava and volleyball club VK Ostrava. The thesis is focused on defining theoretical starting points of sport financing in second chapter, on the analysis of managing these selected sports clubs in third chapter and finally on evaluation of results about managing these clubs in five-year period in fourth chapter, where period is taken as a sport season, not as a calendar year. The fourth chapter, besides the overall evaluation of the results of managing suggests proposals and recommendations for the future, for more effective function of the club. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and subsequently to evaluate and compare management of selected sports clubs. This aim of the thesis was done on the basis of five-year period. Methods of the analysis and comparisons by charts and tables were used to meet the goals of this thesis. The aim was successfully fulfilled.
