Abstract

This thesis aims to assess and verify the feasibility of establishing a financial advisory firm. The firm will offer comprehensive financial counseling services, encompassing a diverse range of products and services, including investment advisory, mortgage advisory, insurance, financial planning, and asset management. The theoretical section of the thesis delves into the fundamental concepts of business, legal forms of business, financial advisory services, and business plans. The practical section focuses on analyzing the business environment in the Czech Republic. Based on the conducted analyses, namely PESTLE analysis, Porter's Five Forces analysis, and SWOT analysis, a substantial part of the business plan for establishing a financial advisory firm is subsequently developed. The business plan encompasses a description of the proposed firm, a portfolio of services and products, a marketing strategy, a risk analysis, a timeline for establishing the firm, administrative procedures, a cost-benefit analysis, and financial statements. The thesis concludes that establishing a financial advisory firm in the Czech Republic is a viable business venture with the potential to generate profit. However, it is crucial to consider the risks associated with competition, indebtedness, and high salaries.
