Abstract
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to design and create a fully functional model of an active chassis dynamometer. The theoretical part of the work deals with getting acquainted with the problematics of active chassis dynamometer. The following is a definition of the requirements for the dynamometer model, fully based on the properties of the actual dynamometers. The thesis describes the concept design, selection of suitable components and control system design. This is followed by the assembly, commissioning and testing of the achieved results. The result is a fully functional model of an active chassis dynamometer that is able to measure and compensate its own losses. Thanks to this, a very accurate traction force measurement is achieved.
