Abstract

The subject of the diploma thesis is to design Sports Centre Nový Smíchov at Nový Smíchov in Prague, which will provide facilities for leisure time activities of the population. The building is based on the proposed urban structure, which follows on the existing block development. Part of the proposal is to open the territory of Nový Smíchov, create a square and connect the Santoška park with greenery leading to the Vltava river, which will create a new public space for the population.
