Abstract

My work is focused on Grant schemes in the Moravia-Silesia region (Moravia-Silesia region of cohesion). The text, I chose because I live in Ostrava and I care about how the region develops. Regional policy is very important, interesting and successful theme. How MS region used to obtain funding from the Structural Funds and how the total number of the project was implemented in the region. How have successful projects Grant schemes. How GS drew funding through the Joint Regional Operational Programme. The first chapter is a theory of regional policy, its importance, objectives, tools, principles and divided into two periods. The second chapter contains the description of the Joint Regional Operational Program, the break of applicants, the conditions for receiving grant. The third chapter focuses on the Grant Schemes and their implementation in the region, promoting and ultimately the use of subsidies for the project promotion Ostrava Zoo, and their results.
