Abstract

The bachelor thesis describes particular operations, defined tasks and the ways of their solutions during the specialist work experience in the company AUSYS informační technologie, s.r.o. The thesis indicates requirements, both internal and external, which represent high priority in connection with the analysis, concept and extensional solutions, as well as reasons and the way of the concrete selections of software and hardware solutions emphasising effectivity, functionality and defensibility of solutions. My aim was to create and transform into practice a standardized model of server solution for small and medium-sized organizational units with the maximal utilization of technologies offered by Microsoft company. The ultimate model have to include the scheme of the network typology emphasising the minimal quantity of applied network components, the usage of concrete software solutions emphasising the achievement of the required functionality, the factual analysis and the concept of the hardware solution, as well as the way of data and machines backing-up. The derivative aim is the transformation of the existing server solutions functionality into the described standardized model. For the successfull aim achievement it was necessary to gain knowledge of the server editions background of operation system Microsoft, classic edition server and edition SBS and virtual technology Hyper-V and products for the interchange of email messages Exchange and Kerio Connect including various backup technologies and procedures
