Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to study, describe and explicate the operation of force sensors. One of the main objectives is to determine the potential of force sensors for use in medical practice. As the variability of force sensor design is relatively broad, the thesis studies several individual sensor types and explains the theory of operation of force sensors. The purpose of the practical part of the thesis is to measure different types of sensors selected by the author, propose the appropriate electrical measure circuit and create laboratory task in LabAuthor software.
