Abstract

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of supplier evaluation and selection within the organisation. In the theoretical part of this thesis, the concept of purchasing, its functions, tasks and goals are analysed. The basic procedures of supplier evaluation and selection are specified further in the next part of this thesis. In the practical part, the production company befra electronic, s.r.o. and the organisation of purchasing are introduced and the current state of the supplier evaluation and selection process is detailed described. The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to define weakness in the supplier evaluation and selection process and to implement proposed process improvement.
