Abstract

The content of the bachelor thesis is the analysis and design of the data model and logic of connecting components and the design of the server configurator application interface. Through the interface, the proposed application is intended to facilitate the end user to configure the server assembly and guide him through the selection of components without the need for complex knowledge of the mutual compatibility of the components. The theoretical part of the thesis primarily focuses on the logic of connecting components, but also serves as a template for the operation of the configurator and is the basis for the correct execution of the data base of the parameter values of each component. The practical part is primarily intended to serve as a basis for application programmers and database analysts, it also deals with the design of a suitable data base of component parameters and verification of the functionality of the proposed configurator logic using virtual process of server assembly.
