Norsko a jeho postavení v integrující se Evropě

Abstract

The thesis is focused on Norway and its position in Europe. The thesis is thematicly divided into three main chapters. The first main chapter is focused on the integration credentials of Norway and its basic characteristics, the second main part is devoted to Norway's involvement in international organizations and its participation in European integration cooperation. The last main chapter is focused on the current Norwegian relationships with select countries and the demarcation of positive and negative aspects of its potential membership in the European Union.

The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the current involvement of Norway in European integration cooperation, to define the barriers and possible positives of potential membership in the European Union and to outline the possibility of future development. The partial aim, which leads to fulfilment of the main aim, is a characteristic of the economic and political situation of the country and its membership in international organizations.
