Abstract

The subject of this bachelor thesis is Design of sewage system in the village of Janovice. The aim of the thesis was to design an efficient and sustainable sewerage system for a small village, which takes into account the specific conditions and needs of the area. The thesis was divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part described the existing situation and specified the problems. The area of interest was defined and divided into two parts. The practical part consisted of comparing three different solution options and choosing the most effective one. The selected gravity sewerage option was elaborated, a situational drawing was designed as a basis for the creation of longitudinal profiles of individual sewers. Subsequently, hydrotechnical calculations were made. In the final part of the bachelor thesis, a detailed economic calculation of the costs associated with the proposed gravity sewer system was carried out. The costs per capita were calculated, including possible subsidies. Financing options were also outlined, including the possibility of using announced subsidy programmes.
