Měření výskytu azbestu ve vybrané škole

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of presence of asbestos in an educational institution, where there is a possible risk of release of asbestos fibres into air of inner environment. Measurements were taken in order to reveal the presence of asbestos. In the opening part of the thesis elementary legal regulation concerning the issue is presented. The following part introduces asbestos, its attributes, history, health risks and occurence. Afterwards a practical part follows, dealing with measuring of asbestos in the selected school. This part also includes results of the measurements with subsequent evaluation, incorporating steps leading to minimalisation of emission of dusty fibres.
