Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with biological wastewater treatment plants. The theoretical part of this thesis generally interprets problems of wastewater treatment in biological wastewater treatment plants and contains basic hydraulic calculations of selected objects of wastewater treatment plants. The practical part of this thesis solves the specific design of biological wastewater treatment in „ZOOLOGICKÁ ZAHRADA OSTRAVA. This part contains a summary of the input data, basic hydraulic design of wastewater treatment facilities, basic calculation of the sequencing batch reactor (SBR), description of designing wastewater treatment plants, description of the management system of the wastewater treatment plant, the wastewater treatment plant model and drawing documentation.
