Abstract

VLČKOVÁ, Kateřina. Measurement of emissions of particles smaller size than 10 μm from small combustion equipments with regard to distribution of pollutants. Ostrava, 2016. Diploma Thesis. Vysoká škola báňská – Technická univerzita Ostrava. Diploma leader: Ing. et Ing. Vendula Laciok, Ph.D. This thesis deals with the problem of air contamination by solid pollutants and highlights the resources that greatly contribute to the contamination of the air particles. The work focused mainly on the individual size fractions of particles smaller than 10 microns from small combustion plants and the impact of these particles on human health. The attention is also paid to the regulations of pollutant emissions from small combustion plants. In the experimental part of the thesis were performed combustion testing on newer and older types of boilers, which are used in households. There were evaluated factors influencing the amount of emissions of different size fractions of particles released into the air when burning brown coal.
