Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with the implementation of lean production in a manufacturing company. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current state of implementation of elements of lean production in the selected company and based on the analysis to design other elements of lean manufacturing, as well as the method of their implementation in the conditions of the company. The first part of this thesis deals with theoretical background of this issue. There are defined basic terms of lean manufacturing, its development and selected methods that serve to achieve it. The next part of the work analyzes the current process and state of implementation of lean manufacturing tools. Based on the analysis, we identified areas for improvement in current lean manufacturing elements, as well as space for the introduction of new tools are identified. The last part of the work contains recommendations for improvements as well as the process of their implementation.
