Abstract

This master's thesis focuses on the application of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools in a selected company engaged in the production of electric motors with a shaft height of 250–355 mm. The attention is directed to purchasing projects, specifically to the introduction of new and high-risk materials into production. To eliminate nonconformities and prevent potential risks, the Material Quality Plan (MQP) tool is applied in such cases. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current form of this tool and to propose its optimization in accordance with the APQP methodology. The thesis includes theoretical foundations of quality management in planning and a comparison of selected modern approaches. The main contribution of the thesis is a proposal for more effective quality management of purchased materials.
