Abstract

This thesis statement with crossing the mining front through syngenetic pothole at the Vršany quarry. In the trend of the mining front there is so-called syngenetic pothole, it means zone without the seams, where is, instead of coal, filled with sandy-clay sediments. Vršany is one of the most prosperous brown coal quarries in the Czech Republic. The design of the solution or the alternative method of the transition of the mining cuttings through syngenetic pothole is the task and also the goal of the submitted thesis statement.
