Abstract
Diploma thesis deals with the usage of unmanned air vehicles (UAV) for mapping and monitoring of landslides. Two localities were selected in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. In both of them several mapping campaigns with quadcopter Phantom 3A were realized. For each locality 3D models were created via techniques of UAV photogrammetry using Agisoft PhotoScan software. These models were compared using two different approaches. For raster model comparison a method of differential rasters was applied. In the second approach 3D point clouds were directly compared using the M3C2 algorithm. The results of UAV monitoring were further compared with results of standard geologic and geodetic landslides monitoring techniques and also compared with data acquired by a terrestrial laser scanner (TLS). UAV proved to be a very suitable technique for landslide mapping due to its high accuracy and high detail at relatively low costs and low time. Data from UAV brings information about the whole locality and can be used as a supplement to technical monitoring.
