Taxonomie strategií průmyslového nákupu elektřiny

Abstract

Good energy procurement performance is determined by robust strategy and buyer behaviour. Companies have different objectives and there is therefore not a single suitable energy procurement strategy. This thesis seeks to explore different procurement strategies selected by buyers in an electricity procurement simulation. All experiment participants were university students. Cluster analysis identifies several distinct buying patterns which were further explored through interviews. Results suggest that buyers took different approach to electricity procurement in terms of risk attitude, amount and timing of forward purchases. Some purchasing mistakes were identified. The thesis concludes with empirical results comparison to theoretical models.
