Abstract

The topic of this thesis is the management of records management in municipalities with extended powers, specifically the records management services in statutory cities Prerov, Opava and Most. The second chapter explains the concepts related to records management, there are also characterized by the tasks associated with document service, its development and records management legislation. The third chapter describes the records management in selected municipalities with extended powers. The fourth section assesses filing service offices in selected municipalities with rozířenou powers and specifies recommendations to improve records management. The work ends with the evaluation of systems that use the selected cities for the management of electronic records management, and there is recorded the progress of incoming and outgoing documents to the Municipality of Prerov, Opava, Most.
