Abstract
The diploma thesis is concerned with evaluating the financial situation of Autel, a.s. using selected methods of financial analysis and deals with proposals to improve. The period 2006 – 2010 was chosen for the evaluation. The task of the theoretical part is to clarify the objective, information sources and methods of financial analysis. The current situation of the company is analysed in the practical part according to methodical procedures explained in theory. Based on the facts from analysis are made possible approaches designed to improve the current financial situation of the company together with suggestions leading to eliminate of any deficiencies at the end of the thesis.
