Zhodnocení regionálních disparit v zemích Visegrádské čtyřky a Rakouska

Abstract

Evropská unie se prostřednictvím regionální politiky snaží o snížení a eliminaci regionálních nerovností, které mají negativní vliv na harmonický a vyvážený rozvoj regionů a blahobyt občanů. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat, komparovat a zhodnotit regionální disparity v zemích Visegrádské čtyřky a Rakouska v období 2002-2012 pomocí vybraných matematicko-statistických metod. Největší rozdíly v období 2002-2012 jsou viditelné mezi regiony rakouskými a českými na jedné straně a regiony maďarskými, polskými a slovenskými na straně druhé. Výrazné disparity jsou také mezi regiony, které jsou současně hlavními městy nebo se na jejich území nachází hlavní města, jako je Praha, Vídeň, Bratislavský kraj Közép-Magyarország a Mazowieckie a ostatními regiony, které jsou od těchto regionů vzdálené.

The European Union aims, through regional policy, to reduce and eliminate regional inequalities, which have a negative impact on the harmonious and balanced development of regions and welfare of citizens. The goal of this thesis is to analyze, evaluate and compare the regional disparities in the countries of Visegrad Four and Austria in the period of 2002-2012 using selected mathematical and statistical methods. The biggest differences during the period 2002-2012 are visible between the Austrian and Czech regions on the one hand and Hungarian, Polish and Slovak regions on the other. There are also significant disparities between the regions that are currently the major cities or territories where are major cities such as Prague, Vienna, Bratislava Region Közép-Magyarország and Mazowieckie and other regions that are distant from these regions.
