Abstract

Using of GPS technologies is the routine today. It becomes part of everyday life. They can be found for example in locating objects, and is used in the security of property and the main field is the use of telematics. On the market there are a large number of navigation devices. There are devices for hiking and automobile navigation, portable, and intended for fixed mounting.Many automakers supplies telematics system as an integral part of the car. With such an extension is obtained voluminous files positional data. This data usually contains information uniquely specifies the location of the object (location, date, etc.). Here it is possible to use the acquired data for further processing. The result of this process may then be a set of information to evaluate the traffic situation. The aim of this work is to design an optimized database system, which will make effective use of stored data and analyze statistical information for further processing.
