Abstract
The aim of the thesis was to analyse the image of Ostrava. The theoretical part focuses on defining the theoretical background of the city image and the characteristics of the city of Ostrava. For the research part, data collection methods were chosen, including a questionnaire survey, media monitoring and interviews. The research results showed that the city of Ostrava is mostly perceived positively, although there are some exceptions. Based on the findings, seven suggestions and recommendations were formulated to improve the perception of the city.
