Abstract

The diploma thesis entitled ,, Territorial study of the Kasárna České Budějovice Locality“ project deals with the design of today´s unbuilt southern part of the former barracks in České Budějovice along the northern border of E. Rošického Street. The aim of this work is to analyze the current state of the territory and to draw up an appropriate use of the unused area, which is located near the bulit-up area and the free landscape. The solved territory should fulfill the functions of the spatial plan – the area of the mixed residential area – the collective character in the square. There are three variants of the solution, which differ from each other by spatial arrangement with respect to the existing urban structure. One of the three variant sis elaborated in more detail and one main object is proccessed in the formo f a strucual engineering study.
