Ekonomické a právní aspekty využití biomasy v ČR

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the legal and economic aspects of the biomass utilization for the energy generation purposes in the Czech Republic. Its goal is to describe the conditions of the biogas station implementation, emphasizing the economy of its operation. The introductory chapter discusses primarily the various biomass utilization issues. The legislation related to the biomass use, and programs for the support of projects utilizing the renewable energy sources (RES) are listed here. The following chapter describes the formation of the biogas, the process of its production, and the possibilities of biogas use. Next, the specific type of the biogas station is proposed, with related economic assessment, and the implementation process. One of the goals of my thesis was to look at these issues also from the viewpoint of public media. Thus, in the fourth chapter, using various media genres, I have compiled the topics of biogas stations and utilization of the RES’s in general. The outcome of my thesis are the specific figures of the investment economic effectiveness indicators like return of investment (ROI), net present value (NPV) and internal rate of return (IRR), based on which the overall assessment of the biogas station benefit has been made.
