Abstract
The purpose of this study is to compare different implementations of the XSLT processors. The first part deals with the importance of the XSLT language, theoretical principles, navigating in a XML document using the XPath language and functions of the XSLT processor. Following section describes how to work with the interfaces used for working with the XML documents (and therefore XSLT transformations) in the individual processors, whose mastery is required to create a test interface for processors. Subsequently there is a description of testing with regard to various tested XML documents and transformation templates, together with completion of the results. The conclusion deals with the problem of memory consumption of
processing very large XML files.
