Abstract
This thesis focuses on evaluating the competitiveness of the company MATEICIUC a.s. The main objective is to analyze the company’s current market position, particularly in the area of plastic profiles for ETICS insulation systems, and subsequently propose measures to improve its competitiveness. The theoretical part defines key concepts and fundamental analytical methods used to assess competitiveness. The practical part is dedicated to the characteristics of the selected company, the analysis of its external environment using PEST analysis and Porter’s Five Forces model, and the analysis of its internal environment. A key part of the thesis is the comparison of the selected product group with competitors, for which benchmarking and multi criteria decision making methods were applied. The outcome of the thesis is the identification of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, from which specific recommendations are derived to enhance the company's position on the market.
