Abstract

The theme of the bachelor thesis was Shopping Habits Analysis en the food market. The objective of the work was to find out preferences in choosing the main place of purchasing and the main reasons of purchasing in the chosen store. Other objective was to map purchasing habits in the selected sort of food. Bachelor thesis can be divided into five base chapters. The first chapter was devoted to the analysis of macro environment and characterization of the food market. The topic of the second chapter was theoretical basis of purchasing behaviour. In the next chapter was described the collecting methodology of necessary data. The fourth chapter was about analysis of purchasing habits using data from made questionnaires, form of a written questioning. In the next fifth chapter were made proposals and recommendations to retail businesses located in the Czech market.
