Abstract

The Bachelor thesis focuses on a comparison of two types of refractory materials for a working (protective) lining of a tundish for continuous casting from the point of view of an economic perspective, steel quality increasing, acceleration of the tundish preparation for the working process and an improvement of working conditions. I will be comparing the general process of the wet preparation (the wet shotcrete method) of the working lining and the dry mass material (without water content) of the working lining of a tundish.
