Abstract

Topic of this diploma thesis is “Business Plan – Establishing a gymnastics gym.” It is split into two sections; theoretical and practical. The Theoretical section is focused on a definition of technical terms, drawn from available publications and electronic sources. The Practical section is focused on describing characteristics and equipment of a gymnastics gym, followed by competition analysis using these strategic models: SWOT analysis, McCarthy’s 4Ps strategy and Porter five forces analysis. Survey research is also included. The conclusion of this thesis is focused on financial analysis of the business plan.
