Materiálová investigace litiny s lupínkovým grafitem pro rotory vakuových pump

Abstract

The main topic of the thesis is microstructural analysis of graphite cast iron. Transformations of structures during solidification and sorting of cast iron according to appearance of their microstructure are introduced in theoretical part. There are descriptions of relations between microstructure and mechanical properties of cast iron. The methods of quantitative structural analysis and problems related to this method are described as well. Practical part deals with structures of two different rotors of vacuum pumps made of gray cast iron. The emphasize is on their structure close to the surface and structural changes during their increasing distance from surface. Hardness measurement is also included. The structures of rotors are compared in the end.
