Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a web and desktop application for the management and monitoring of photovoltaic power plants. The project addresses the necessity of efficient operational data processing, energy production monitoring, and clear data visualization for various user groups. The theoretical part analyzes current solutions in photovoltaic monitoring and evaluates suitable software development technologies. Based on this analysis, a multi-tier architecture was designed to meet the requirements of both service providers and end users. The desktop application, intended for administrators, simplifies database management by eliminating the need for direct SQL querying. The web application provides users with an overview of key power plant parameters, interactive data visualization, and support communication tools. The final output is a functional prototype of both applications implemented using a PostgreSQL database.
