Abstract
The aim of this work is a brief theoretical exposition of the concept - financial analysis and financial analysis subsequently applied to the selected company. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the concepts and methods of financial analysis. The practical part includes a calculation of the economic performance of the enterprise MEP POSTŘELMOV, Inc. for the period 2005-2008 chosen methods and the conclusion is devoted to evaluation and the proposal to remove any deficiencies in the management of the company.
