Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with electric lines analysis. The first part focuses on different types of lines, their division according to means of usage and ways of wiring and materials used for conductors. The next part involves basic knowledge about electrical parameters of lines, construction and the use of line mast, which is followed by the part about insulators. The final part of this thesis goes into the matter of electric line design and includes an analysis of all the requirements for line dimensioning and their protection against overload and faults.
