Komparace financování sekundárního vzdělávání v krajích ČR

Abstract

Education in the Czech Republic is one of the most important segments of the public sector. Funding for this sector is provided by a combination of performance and program funding from the state budget and two sources of financing of regional and municipal education. Due to a significant reduction in the management of the state and the increasing autonomy of schools and school facilities and their founders are the Ministry of Education actually finds himself in a situation where they have to finance a number of areas that can significantly affect materially and has relatively little power in deciding on the establishment of new schools and school facilities. It is necessary to strengthen the role of the Ministry of Education as the central institution in the financing of regional education.
