Abstract

DELONGOVA, Nikola. Design of buildings for rainwater management in the urbanized area of the city of Opava. Thesis. Ostrava: VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. Faculty of Civil Engineering, 2023. The diploma thesis deals with the design of buildings for rainwater management in the urbanized area of the city of Opava. The work is based on the previous analysis and survey of the city, to the results of which it responds in the form of proposed objects. The result of the work is the created designs of objects in selected locations of the city of Opava and their specific use is justified. The work also includes an evaluation of the selected proposals, including a cost calculation, and the overall suitability of the proposal for the given area is determined.
