Abstract

The subject of the thesis is an analysis and evaluation of the organisational architecture of a small-scale enterprise. The aim of the thesis is to propose the optimum organisational structure of the chosen entrepreneurial subject and examine its effect on competitive advantage of the enterprise. Theoretical part focuses on the issue of enterprise organisation and organisational architecture. It offers types of particular organisational structures, factors effecting organisational structures, definitions and importance of small-scale and middle-scale business and competitive advantage. Last but not least, the thesis describes methods used before the selection of an appropriate organisational structure. The application part presents the analysis on the current situation of a surveyed entrepreneurial subject, search and proposition of modern organisational architecture and assessment of its effect on competitive advantage of the enterprise. Object of the research was a small-scale enterprise Ha-vel family, s.r.o. which offers complex services in the field of information technology.
