Možnosti nasazení diskontinuální technologie v rámci těžby nadložních zemin v SHP

Abstract

The submitted bachelor thesis describes the current state of mining in the North Bohemian Brown Coal Basin. The specific feature of the basin is the almost exclusive use of continuous mining technology for overburden and coal mining at individual locations. The thesis describes the life of the individual mines based on coal reserves and the estimated annual harvest. The next part describes the possibilities of discontinuous technology deployment with high performance at open pit brown coal mines. This technology is not deployed in the Czech republic up to date, unlike other countries with open pit mining of coal and ores. The advantages and disadvantages of discontinuous technology over existing technology are given in conclusion. There are also described the potential risks involved in deploying the extraction process and selection of mining sites.
