Analýza podpory v nezaměstnanosti v Moravskoslezském kraji

Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of unemployment and focuses on the unemployment benefits. Several basic concepts, which are key to understanding unemployment, are explained herein. The two most important terms occurring throughout the entire thesis are clearly “jobseeker” and “job applicant.” Thesis provides an overview of the rights and obligations of the unemployed who is in need of assistance from the Labour Office, where one must register as a jobseeker to be eligible for unemployment benefits. The work focuses on unemployment in the Moravian-Silesian region and how the region stands on the labour market. The aim of this thesis is therefore to get familiar with the issue through the valid legislation of the Czech Republic and to clarify the system of unemployment benefits with a focus on the Moravian-Silesian region.
