Abstract

This thesis deals with the problems of pressure driven membrane processes, their historical development and possibilities of applications. It also focuses on a group of inorganic ceramic membranes and porous supports, on their production, materials and basic physical - mechanical properties. The second part deals with the evaluation of quality material based on by-products from combustion thermal coal - fly ashes, which was used for the production of porous tubular support. They were carried a series of tests out determining the individual characteristics of the material such as porosity, permeability and thermogravimetric properties and followed evaluation of the measured results.
