Abstract

This bachelor thesis "Mining of sedimentary rocks in Czech Republic, mining methods and assessment of negative and positive extraction on the environment in selected localities" deals with the description of mining methods of sedimentary rocks used in the Czech Republic, mechanization used for their mining and also the basic description of individual sedimentary rocks including their occurrence in our country and examples of their use. Furthermore, this bachelor thesis deals with the impact of mining around the gravel pit near the village of Spytihněv, including descriptions of several possible solutions to reduce negative environmental impacts.
