dc.description.abstractThe bachelor thesis is focused on the financial analysis of Tesco plc's income statement and balance sheet. I have used some methodology of financial analysis, including common-size analysis, financial ratio analysis, and the DuPont analysis. There is a description of Tesco in the third chapter, which is something about Tesco's history, the market share, and the company structure. I have also introduced some of its competitors. In the financial analysis part, I focused on the financial ratios, which is based on the statements of Tesco, of Tesco from 2007 to 2011. There are also some tables and figures in the part.en
