Sledování kvality vody na vybraných vodních tocích

Abstract

This diploma thesis monitors and evaluates the quality of water on selected watercourses and reservoir. The selected monitored streams include the Lubina River, which springs in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains, flows through the Moravian-Silesian Region and empties into the Odra River. Another monitored stream is Svěcený potok, which springs at the western foot of the Kazničov peak near the village of Hukvaldy and flows into the Lubina River. The last monitored site is the Větřkovická dam. The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of water quality in these water areas, which is performed on the basis of comparison of measured values of monitored indicators with the standard ČSN 75 7221 Water quality – Classification of Surface Water Quality. The work pays attention to individual sampling points and focuses on the evaluation of water quality based on their chemical analysis. One of the goals of the diploma thesis is to characterize the indicators of water quality (pH, conductivity, temperature, amount of dissolved oxygen, nitrates, sulfates and total phosphorus) and compare these parameters between selected streams within different seasons.
