Abstract

The bachelor thesis Funding Sources of the Firefighters Association of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia deals with the analysis of sources of financing of selected corps for the financial year 2019. The theoretical part of this thesis defines the characteristics of associations and clubs, decision-making practices of these non-profit organizations as well as the question of their funding. Finally, the characteristics of a specific district are given, including the corps within its competence. In the empirical part of this work, the income and expenditure of individual corps of the mentioned district are determined, compared and subsequently evaluated by means of data analysis. A comparison of the results of the analysis then reveals the self-sufficiency of individual corps and contains recommendations for guidance on changing the strategy in obtaining and using the resources used.
