Vliv vypouštění důlních vod na kvalitu vod řeky Olše v letech 2004 – 2014

Abstract

The goal of this master thesis is to asses the impact of mine waters discharged from coal mines in Upper Silesian Coal Basin area on changes in quality of water in river Olše during years 2004 – 2014. First part of this master thesis follows up geological and hydrogeological description of broad area and its conditions. Mining activity in Upper Silesian Coal Basin is described subsequently. Part of the chapter deals with analysis and evaluation of amount of discharged mine waters and pollutants present in mine waters during observed period. Monitoring and classification of surface waters and groundwaters in territory of Czech Republic and Poland is described in following part, including appropriate legislation. In next chapter comes comparison of data, originally obtained from monitoring stations located along river flow. As most efective analysis has been chosen a multiparametric cluster analysis. Graphs of similarity of the used data were created in statistical programme MINITAB Relese 10.1 after developing input matrixes out of attached databasis. In last part of this master thesis, conclusions, is quality of water in river Olše evaluated according to specification ČSN 75 7221 and according to regulation of government No. 229/2007 Sb.
