Technologie modifikace litiny plněným profilem

Abstract

The main objectiv of this thesis is to describe the material technological change of treatment in ductile iron foundry. The original method called tundish lifting cover has been replaced by a new method of cored wires. In the foundry is modified only 250 kg of metal. The text describes all the connotations stemming from the technology change. Construction of a new modification pan, determination of a suitable technological modification procedure, selection of a suitable filled profile and achievement of the required microstructure. We have managed to set up the technological process to meet all our qualitative and economic goals. We achieved stable results of chemical composition and microstructure. The results of this work show that 250 kg of liquid metal can be successfully modified by cored wire.
