Abstract

The main aim of this thesis is to analyse a component part of marketing communication mixture at the Basic School of Žilina - Závodie, and on the base of this analysis and marketing research results ti find out, which forms of mix are the most efficient and most suitable for both parents and pupils. Another objective is to suggest some recommendations for making the process of school communication more efficient. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part addresses to the characteristics of the school background and theoretical starting points of marketing communication. In the practical part, a marketing questionnaire survey has been done. Some factual suggestions are given for the realized defects in area of personal communication, public relations, advertising, direct marketing and Internet communication. The particular suggestions reflect the requirements of current market on the new trends in education and they are elaborated in that way to save the costs of an educational institution and in the same time be efficient.
