Simulace a analýza pohybu mobilních telefonů

Abstract

This work aims to design and test application, that will simulate movement of mobile phones in the city of Ostrava. Virtual motion is monitored through the data captured by the GSM network. The data used to simulate the movement has been artificially generated by user profiles established on the basis of theoretical principles of geography and time information, provided by the Czech Statistical Office. The application is a graphical user interface that displays a base street network of the city of Ostrava. Over this map are plotted in the GSM network cells with different base-stations. Movement around the city is demonstrated using graphical animations.
