Abstract

The aim of the Diploma Thesis is to charakterize the development of the relationship between Turkey and EU and evaluate impacts of the membership on EU from economic and safety point of view. Diploma Thesis brings the comprehensive point of view of Turkey´s perspective. The first chapter contains information about geographic location, population , economy, political system ane actual political situation. The second chapter defines relations between EU and Turkey, relations between Turkey and ist adjacent coutries and institutional cooperation. The third chapter estimates the economic and safety impact of the integration of Turkey into the EU.
